W. Kip LeMay, BS, BA, LPCC
Kip Lemay has a Master's in Education, a Masters of Arts in Counseling, and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). He interned as a men's anger management facilitator, was an ARMHS worker (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services) in the community for three years, and has been a therapist for the past four years.
Kip sees individuals, couples, families and works primarily with client 13 years and older, although he will see elementary school age children and their families. He specializes in trauma: emotional abuse, family trauma, domestic violence, accidents, assaults, sexual assaults, childhood sexual abuse, and other types of trauma. He is trained in EMDR, the Adaptive Internal Relational (AIR) Network Model (a complex trauma therapy, and hypnotherapy.
Kip tailors therapy towards each client's individual needs. He works with clients to develop a strong emotional IQ, better emotional regulation, identify unhelpful core beliefs and unwanted programming, create new beliefs, build internal and external resources, and resolve trauma that causes painful symptoms and limits current functioning. He also helps individuals, couples, and families identify and embrace their values and goals, practice non-violent communication, create healthy boundaries, and build primacy with themselves and with significant people in their lives
