Amy L. Strand, MA, LPCC

Amy has Masters' degrees in both Counseling and Psychological Services and in Clinical Psychology (with a trauma focus). She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Amy has been working in the mental health field for the past 15 years in various capacities including community mental health, residential treatment, and case management, neuropsych testing and crisis counseling. A large portion of Amy's work has been with adults experiencing a serious mental illnesses including major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, complex trauma/personality disorders, other anxiety disorders and chemical dependency concerns. Amy utilizes an eclectic approach to counseling using a variety of therapy techniques including client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, developmental and holistic approaches. Amy seeks to create a warm, validating and safe environment where she can collaborate with clients to help them find ways to reach their recovery goals. Ages 18+
